1999 Calendar of Events

May 23 Launch Party- This is an informal event if you’d like some

camaraderie while rigging your boat (In case winter has fogged

your recollection of how everything goes together). Mike

LaPorte is trying to get Sky Crane there for the big rigs. Please

call him for an update 970-726-5937. Someone may fire up a

barbecue so bring brats if you’d like.

June 19 PHRF 1 & 2

Spring Barbecue after the race at the Jensens (as always - many

thanks to Dave and Kathy). Beer and brats provided, bring a

dish to share. Open to Non-Members-behave

July 10 Women’s Sail Weekend- This event will be a refresher (or intro)

course on sailing, boat handling, and docking. We will hold

this event only if there is enough interest. Please call Sandy to

register 303-973-5722.

July 17 PHRF Races 3 & 4

July 31 Commodore’s Race- Hawaiian theme - more details later.

Raft up and sleep over at hidden cove. Brats, beer, and wine

provided; please bring a dish to share.

Aug. 1 El Toro Races- Pray for wind.

Aug. 14 PHRF Races 5 & 6

Raft up after, beer and wine provided. Bring the El Toros.

Aug. 28 Manifest Race- Barbecue at the Ranger Station. Beer, brats, and

pop provided. Bring a dish. Awards ceremony to follow.

Aug 29 El Toro Races in the cove.

** All races will have the skippers meetings at Highland at 11:00 a.m.

* PHRF races $5 per boat.
